I. Call to Order
Meeting called to order at 7:10 p.m.

II. Approval of Minutes
General Membership Meeting Minutes will be approved at the next General Membership Meeting.

III. Treasurer’s Report
Andrea distributed and reviewed the Treasurer’s Report.

IV. Principal’s Report
Mrs. Candy Smith has accepted an afternoon math support position at Birchwood. Ms. Helena Quigley will co-teach with Mrs. Smith and teach in the afternoon.

V. Staff Report
No report

VI. Committee Reports

a. Mountain School – Dates: Oct. 19, 20, 21.

b. Fundraising – Raised approximately $15,000 in sales.

c. School Garden – Master Gardener for Birchwood via Grant monies.

d. Harvest Hustle – Oct. 16

e. Conference Art Workshop – Need instructors: Parents, Community Members, etc.

f. Popcorn Friday – Kids enjoyed and were responsible with their trash.

g. Book Fair – Nov. 2 – 5. Barb Richey and Michelle Carlson are Co- Chairs.

VII. New Business/Old Business
PTA Newsletter – will be sent out separate from the school newsletter.
