Volunteer Opportunities Click Here Dear Birchwood Families: The SCHOLASTIC BOOK FAIR is coming to Birchwood. You are invited to come during the
following times: We encourage you to come browse the
shelves and see the fun and exciting books that Scholastic has to offer. The
profits from the Book Fairs are used to purchase additional Accelerated
Reader books and tests for our students and to increase classroom
libraries. Be sure to look for the Classroom
Wish List display, which allows you to donate books to your child’s classroom
in your child’s name. We look forward

PTA is
always looking for volunteers to help with our many projects. If you
would like to volunteer, please contact us at our email address below. Pacific
Science Center Van – Monday, November 28th Volunteers are needed to help set up from 8:00-9:00am and to help with
exhibits during the
day. Conference
Arts & Crafts Workshops – December 14 – 19th One hour workshops run after Early
Release on Parent/Teacher Conference
Days. Volunteer workshop instructors are needed
as well as ideas for workshops. Volunteers are
needed to help instructors run the workshops. Committee
Chairs are needed for the following committees: Family Fun
Nights – Bingo Nights are scheduled for Jan. and March Staff
Appreciation – monthly staff treats and week long event May
1-5 Scholastic
Book Fairs – November and March Book Fairs Birchwood
Boogie – Spring Fundraiser in mid-May Max Davis
Memorial Bicycle Rodeo – fun family event in June |
